The 2025 Garrison Australian Shepherds Family Day will be held Saturday, September 13 here at our place.
Past and current puppy families and friends are all welcome to attend.
We will have a BBQ and potluck lunch, herding time with the sheep and hopefully some rain by then will top up the pond for some swims for our dogs wanting to swim.
It’s an afternoon event starting at noon and with food planned for 1-1:30. Expecting to wrap-up by 5 at latest, so plan to join for a long, (or little) time as your schedule allows.
We’d love to see everyone out with their dogs- if ypu are part of our “pack” please post below if you can make it!

Our recommendations include Sara Lowe- works out of Sackville- experienced Aussie groomer and now taking new clients!
Galloway- another experienced Aussie groomer - works out of ’s Poodle Parlour in Dartmouth.

UPDATE: Cipher (now Dora the explorer) has moved to her furever home. She is settling in nicely with her family and aussie sister. Thanks to everyone for helping us in this search. :)

AVAILABLE! So… while Cipher has enjoyed her foster time with friends, she is STILL looking to find her very own family to spoil her and be their adorable sidekick.
Cipher is 12 weeks old and is doing great with potty training, crate training, leash walk training and being the cutest puppy on the block. She comes from health tested parents and is UTD on her shots. She gets on well with other dogs of all sizes and ages, loves kids and could be a fabulous sport dog for the right owner. Happy to share our own insight and that of her foster for interested parties. Please message myself or Stephen Dahr to discuss …

Update 2: Cipher is heading tomorrow for a test tryout test of a sleepover weekend to see how she and her new potential siblings will do. 🤞 She is such an awesome little girl- let’s hope everyone has a blast!
Update: Diesel has found his new family and will now be known as Misneach! (P**n. Meesh-naw)
Cipher is still available!

Following our Fortune x Vivian litter evaluation, we have availability for the following pups, preferably on a co- ownership. These are lovely, balanced pups from health tested parents.

1. Cipher - pretty blue merle female. Medium-high drive. Best suited to a home experienced with herding dogs.
Potential to be a fabulous sport/sidekick for the right person!

2. Diesel- red merle male. Low-medium energy. Loves to snuggle in between pouncing on toys and snoozing. Great balanced puppy with beautiful expression.

Original families have fallen through hence we are looking to our Garrison network to help us find their perfect forever homes!

Puppy evaluations being done later today. It’s bittersweet but we are excited to see whether what we have seen developing for personalities and structure over past weeks is reflected through this process!
