Looking for a fun way to get out of the house, connect with other families, and introduce your little one to horses? Our Mom & Tots program is back this June at Signature Equestrian in Stayner! 🐴

Join us Tuesday mornings from 9:30–10:00 AM on June 9, 16, 23, and 30 for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to the barn designed for young children and their parent or caregiver.

With so many homeschooling families looking for daytime activities, this program is a wonderful opportunity to get outside, learn about horses, build confidence around animals, and make new friends in a welcoming environment.

That’s a wrap on our May programs! 🌷🐴

Over the past several weeks, our Mom & Tots, Rookie Riders Level 1, and Rookie Riders Level 2 riders have been busy learning, building confidence, and making new memories at the barn.

It has been incredible to watch each child grow week after week. Thank you to all of the families who joined us this spring and trusted us to be part of your rider’s journey!

While our Saturday programs are now finished for the season, we’re excited to announce that Rookie Riders is continuing with a new Tuesday morning session designed specifically for homeschool families.

If you’ve been looking for a fun, educational, and hands-on introduction to horses and riding, we’d love to have you join us!

Looking for a fun and educational way for your child to spend part of their summer?☀️ Join us July 13th–17th for a week filled with horses, learning, and hands-on experiences at our Stayner facility.

Campers will learn the foundations of horsemanship, including proper horse care, anatomy and behaviour, stable management, and the basics of riding. Whether your child is brand new to horses or already horse-crazy, our goal is to help them build confidence, knowledge, and a deeper appreciation for these incredible animals.

At Signature Equestrian, we believe great horsemanship starts with understanding the horse first. Through a mix of riding, hands-on activities, and time spent around the barn, campers will leave with new skills, new friendships, and plenty of memories.

What an incredible experience for our show team to get the opportunity to ride with the . As hunter/jumper riders, it was so special to step outside the show ring and experience the true roots and traditional riding behind hunting.

A huge thank you for having us, and to everyone at the hunt for being so welcoming to our team. It was an unforgettable day full of learning, great horses, and even better company. We’re so grateful to have been included in such an awesome experience!

Welcoming the newest addition! May 11th, Mi Amour welcomed a beautiful c**t by the exceptional KWPN stallion Twisther.

This special cross combines proven international jumping blood, athleticism, carefulness, scope, and rideability. We are incredibly excited for this foal’s future and to watch this one grow over the coming years. ✨

Quiet minded, kind, and ready to continue her development; Signature’s Iris is a 2022 Registered American Warmblood mare by Scion of Aries out of Gypsy Ballerina, currently standing 15.1h.

Iris combines proven jumper blood with strong hunter and sport horse lines. Her dam, Gypsy Ballerina, carries the influential Rio Grande lineage through Riot, bringing rideability, movement, temperament, and athleticism to the cross.

On the sire side, Scion of Aries contributes proven European jumping blood through Voltaire and Krack C lines, known for scope, carefulness, power, and rideability. Aries offspring are consistently noted for their athletic jump, balanced canter, willing attitude, and versatility for both hunters and jumpers.

The combination gives Iris an especially appealing modern sport horse pedigree. Athletic enough for performance while still maintaining the brain and temperament desired for amateur and junior riders.

She offers lovely smooth movement, a willing attitude, and an unfazed demeanour that makes her enjoyable both in and out of the tack. Iris crossties, lunges, and is now walk/trot under saddle independently. Sensible, easy to handle, and taking everything in stride, she shows all the qualities to develop into a lovely hunter, jumper, or all-around sport horse prospect.

A very sweet young mare with a solid foundation, excellent brain, and plenty of potential for the future.

Batman (Dark Knight of Aries) has officially been leased out to for the 2026 season, competing at some of Ontario’s top “A” circuit horse shows with such a talented program behind him. From the beginning, Batman has proven himself to be the ultimate large pony; competitive in all three rings, kind-hearted, and endlessly reliable both in and out of the ring.

Watching horses and ponies move on to programs where they’ll continue to shine is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We’re so proud of this special pony and grateful to see him joining a barn that values quality horsemanship, strong partnerships, and top-level competition. We’re excited to host the Rayne Dubois Clinic in Stayner, ON at Signature Equestrian this July. With small group sizes and heights ranging from .75m–1.10m, the day is designed to give riders quality instruction in a supportive, encouraging environment.

Clinics are one of the best ways to grow as a rider. They push you outside your normal routine and challenge you to think differently, ride sharper, and become a better partner for your horse.

Whether you’re preparing for show season, building confidence in the jumper ring, or looking to fine tune the details at home, this is a great opportunity to learn from an accomplished young professional and EC certified competition coach.
