August hits different — and so do the itchy paws, funky ears, and surprise hot spots.

If your dog is licking their feet like it’s a full-time job, shaking their head nonstop, or suddenly “smells… different”… you’re not alone. Late summer is peak itch season around here (pollen + grasses + humidity + swim water + more outdoor time = the perfect storm).

A few simple things that can help this week:
- quick paw rinse/wipe after walks (and dry between the toes)
- don’t ignore ear gunk + stink (that’s a clue, not a quirk)
- gentle baths to rinse off allergens (skip the harsh, super-fragranced stuff)
- support the skin + gut (omega-3s can be a game-changer for some pets)

The plans? Helping pet parents find the perfect raw food blend, answering "how much should I feed?" for the 47th time today, restocking the freezers, giving certified advice about ear infections, and giving treats to as many four-legged customers as I can.

Basically, living our best life. 😄
