We almost missed $5 Friday. Our relularly purchased food plus more today because of all the special needs and babies in care ~ We put away a very large Food Order $5,000 +, we fed 3 times 10 baby puppies, we helped clients, we went to a local vet to pick up a cat that was hit by a car AND we have studied Feline Heartworm until there is little else to study (but we are sure there is more).

Please, if you have an extra $5, $10, $20, $50 or more, we could certainly use your help as our vet bills are adding up with additional medications, Xrays, and multiple animals needing medical care.

Your help is needed everyday!

When you are picking up your pet's food, supplies and/or litter could you please think about those owners who are struggling for food and items for their pets. It is important that we all step in to help.
We have not been able to help these animals through the month of May and had to make the decision to close the Pet Pantry for the month until we get some food and supplies stocked up.
We are almost there ... a few more bags of kitten, cat, puppy, dog, senior animal food and we will feel comfortable opening June 1st. It doesn't have to be expensive food but food can help these animals survive and give relief to the owners worrying how they are going to make ends meet.
By supporting the pet pantry keeps people's pet fed AND keeps their pets out of the shelter.

We will also be implementing some changes in the pet pantry. There will be a very small charge for the food people are picking up. This will go into a collection jar so when we get short, we will be able to purchase more. It will be $ .10/can and $5/large bag and $2/small bag. Litter will be $5 large bag or box. We hope this works for everyone. Special circumstances will be looked at individually.

There are not enough ways to say thank you for the extraordinary donation of items this week.
Monica, Thank you!
You cannot imagine the excitement as 22 boxes were delivered Wednesday and 4 more Thursday.
Our animals and volunteers are blessed ~ from food to gloves to litter boxes to PPE to garbage bags and medical supplies. This is certainly going to make it a little easier over the next little while.
Thank you for this very generous donation!

And to those who have been dropping items off without leaving a name, your support is appreciated.
