**Update Blanco has a home! Great day to hang outside ! The boys are 3.5 mths old now. Blanco (white with some light ticking)is a happy well rounded big boy, excellent structure to last in the field, super friendly, listens well, quick learner. Up to date on vaccines and deworming will just need Rabies vaccine next.

Introducing new NSTRA Amateur Field Trial Champion Tipton's Stormy Skies FDJ.FD.FDA. " Kansas"

Many Thanks go out to his breeder Ben Tipton in Kansas, USA who trusted me with one of his puppies, also could not have done it without all the help and guidance of my now, good friend Spencer Ray of Creek Haven Farms for saying yes when I first asked about helping with training a pointing dog which was all new to me. and who is also kind enough to allow his girl Tilly to be my first brood b****!
The tradition of finishing a championship title is not a bucket of water or being thrown into a lake - they shoot the hat you are wearing that day!
so pictured is Kansas wearing the hat and if you zoom in close you'll see the holes and the pellets that are still in my hat that I'm going to frame with our photos 🎉
I dove head first into the National Shoot to Retrieve Association after watching my good friend Nancibeth Clements and her husband, Steve running their dogs in the first licensed NSTRA trial held by Southern Ontario region in 2020! This is an event that Jack and I enjoy together. Thank you for introducing us to the sport ❤️ and thank you to all the people who have helped in the pointing field dog world answering our questions over the years ❤️

Now almost 7 years later Setterun English Setters has an established breeding program with three litters on the ground and a number of awesome hunting dogs in great homes! I will soon be trialling one of my homebred girls Siete to follow in her dad Kansas' paw prints!

The three English Setters on point over this bird at Gold Creek game farm are Frank, Sioux (both boys are part of Setterun) and the one who couldn't wait is a girl I bred Breeze ( Kansas x Tilly) ❤️
and our friends English Springer Spaniel Chance got in at the end!

Well we were close to finishing Kansas' NSTRA Ch. but the 3rd bird he pointed turned out to be a wing. Oh well ...2 nice finds, a beautiful long retrieve over land through running water back on land and a back got us into 5 th place with a score of 565 points. Jack ran Swift Rock Keepin It Frank today too just couldn't find more than one bird in each trial. Next trial at SCK Upland in Watford on May 2 & 3.

Quick family photo this morning 😍 Mama Tilly hanging out with her kids that are still here.
Blanco the gorgeous white boy with a bit of ticking is an easy going lovable, very biddable boy he would make any family extremely happy with lots of talent!

Jayko far left is staying with me until his family gets back from a vacation.Little Trouble is hanging out for a bit :) He is showing some strong promise to be a good little working dog so he may stay in the long run ❤️
