Meet Charlie!

Hes a 4yr old bernadodle that requires a new home.

Unfortunately his elderly owner has had some circumstances that require Charlie to require rehoming.

He's a good boy, full of energy but will also relax with you. He's likely best suited to a family with older children and a home with knowledge of pack mentality (he has begun nipping a little) discipline/training is a benefit to curb this behavior.

He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Freshly groomed but will require regular grooming at approximately every 2 months due to his coat type, with a fee of around $90 (with me) to $120 at most other salons.

Attn clients

I am now accepting bookings for the fall.

Please send me your preferred dates and I will check the schedule and provide confirmation or closest to you option I have available.

(Most of you are 2 months between appointments so judge off your last scheduled)

It's highly recommend that you book asap if you need a specific day or time, or book 6 weeks between to avoid disappointment.

Why regular grooming is important

Nail trims are not just so you don't get annoyed with the tip tapping, they are for your pets health.

Keeping regular trims helps avoid issues like this which can cause discomfort and pain not only due to the initial issue but secondary issues such as walking and pad infections.

With my veterinary experience I was able to cut and clean this nail. Advise the owner on next steps and what to watch for. This furry friend is healing up well and will be fine in no time.

Happy New Year

I am already experiencing some short notice cancelations and we are only in the 3rd week.

Please refer to my policies pinned to the top of the page. The fees apply unless it's an EMERGENCY.

I also will be implementing a weather policy as I don't have one. This will be added today.

For weather situations

If weather conditions are poor and the roads have been closed NO fee will apply as your safety is important. It may be difficult to reschedule but I will do my best to within a timely manner.

However if you live in town the roads being closed do not apply to you. Inner town roads do NOT close and you also have the ability as we are small to walk. If you choose to cancel the fee WILL apply.

The fee WILL also still apply with any situations that are not an EMERGENCY for example being stuck in your driveway, being stuck behind a plow, etc. These are situations that can be avoided by properly assessing time and conditions. As I can empathize with these I will not be left with the penalty of income lost over poor management on your part.

I hope you once again understand my position of protecting my business in this challenging financial time. If the behavior keeps occurring and I fall below being able to cover my bills I will seek employment elsewhere and close my doors. I'm working to avoid that so you continue to have an affordable, local, professional service.
