Have you been seeing all of the flowering trees around your neighbourhood this time of year? 🌸 Some of our favourites in the Spencer's yard right now are Royal Raindrops Crabapple, Snowbird Hawthorn, Crimson Cloud Hawthorn, and Fort Mcnair Horse Chestnut. All of these beauties are tolerant of coastal areas, though the crabapple likes a little more protection from salt-spray wind! 🌊 Which one would you like in your yard?

The Rhododendrons and Azaleas are blooming!
These bushes are a favourite in our local climate, because the leaves often stay green throughout the winter and their bright colours are among the first to pop up in backyards around town. They come in many varieties and colours, so come by and see our selection!

Nematodes now available for purchase! It's the time to apply nematodes to your yard to reduce the grubs which grow into Japanese beetles and June bugs. These beneficial organisms are one of our best (and natural) defenses against invasive Japanese Beetles.

Treat your lawn once in May/June, then again in August/September, watering in heavily for best results.
