Crazy Tails Canine Services We offer grooming and training as well as daycare and boarding services within city limits. We teach using positive reinforcement and operant conditioning.

Crazy Tails is a place where your dog can come socialize and play all day! We offer 4x6 suites for our boarding dogs that are fully matted and have a climate controlled facility so your dog is always safe and comfortable! (Our boarding dogs also have full access to our play areas during the day!) We have a 5000 sqft indoor play area and a 7000 soft outdoor play area. Our outdoor area has plenty of

play structures as well as pools and sprinklers in the Summer time! Our staff constantly encourages training and good behaviour while in our daycare! Our wonderful daycare staff supervises and plays with your pups all day to make sure they come home happy and tired.

**Dogs must be friendly with people and other dogs and have no guarding or aggressive tendencies.**

Crazy Tails has a certified groomer Monday-Fridays! We do grooms as well as teeth cleaning, nails/dremel filing and more! We also teach a variety of classes in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends. Our classes include Puppy Primer, Novice Obedience, Intermediate Obedience and Advanced Obedience classes. We also have classes like Beginner Scent Detection, Rally Obedience, Loose Leash Lesson and the only Reactive Dog group classes offered in Saskatoon!

We got this training update today from one of our amazing clients!!

Jasper is a 3 year old mix of many hounds who loves to chase and track. A year or so ago we were struggling with recall to the point off leash walks were no longer an option so we booked a one on one with Meghan to learn how to properly use an ecollar. After a day his recall was so much better, after a couple months he started going weeks without needing the ecollar and often didn't put it on. After a year he had an impromptu final exam.

A porcupine was just off the trail and Jasper discovered it. He didn't have an ecollar on as his recall was damn near perfect. With a single Jasper, Here! He came to my side with no signs of reluctance. A single training session saved us so much in vet bills today.

(No porcupines were injured in this final exam. I chased the porcupine up a tree and out of reach of other dogs.)ae te

🦠 It’s kennel cough season, we are doing everything we can to keep this infection at bay but here’s what you can do to help!

Keep your pup home if they are showing any of the following symptoms:
- Persistent dry coughing or hacking
- Runny nose or sneezing
- Lethargy
- Loss of appetite
- Mild fever
- Although we don’t require the Bordetella vaccine, we do recommend it

🦠What is Kennel Cough?

Also known as Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, it is very similar to a common cold in humans. Spread airborne and through contaminated objects, it usually resolves itself within a couple weeks of rest. Consult your veterinarian if symptoms worsen or persist.

Our Story

Crazy Tails is a luxury boarding facility and daycare centre where your dog can come and socialize and have fun all day instead of staying home alone while you are at work. We offer boarding suite rooms and crate boarding options.We have an 8000 sqft indoor play area with separate small and large dog areas.

Our facility includes overnight staff, air conditioning for summer boarding guests, full grooming and spa services. We also have a securely fenced 7000 sqft outdoor area furnished with a ramp and picnic table for pottying and for playing in the pool or lounging on hot summer days! Dogs who attend boarding and daycare must be friendly with people and other dogs and have no guarding or aggressive tendencies. We also teach obedience classes in the evenings. We teach using positive reinforcement and operant conditioning. Our classes include Puppy Primer for puppies under 6 months, Novice and Advanced Obedience and Reactive dog classes.
