We will be closed on Monday November 17th to regular appointments and walk in traffic.
We are hosting a barn cat spay/neuter day and it will be all hands on deck. We will reopen later in the afternoon for food or medication pick ups.

🐱💨 **A Close Call with a Happy Ending!** 💙

Yesterday at BGAH, what could have been a total nightmare turned into a story of teamwork, quick thinking, and one very lucky cat.

As one of our clients was getting her cat out of the car to bring him in for surgery, the carrier suddenly came apart—and in a flash, her nervous kitty bolted! He took off running down the street, scared and fast.

Without missing a beat, our amazing BGAH team sprang into action. Several staff members—**including one who’s 8 months pregnant!**—chased after him through driveways, across lawns, and even over a fence or two. 🏃‍♀️🐾

After some tense moments, they managed to safely corner him in a neighbouring backyard and reunite him with his very anxious owner. 💕 Thanks to our team’s incredible dedication, this kitty was able to have his neuter surgery and is now safe and sound back home.

Huge shoutout to our amazing staff—your courage, teamwork, and care for every animal (and their people!) truly make all the difference. 💙👏

This will include a pre-surgical examination with our veterinarian, pre-surgical bloodwork, a full mouth assessment, dental radiographs, +/- any teeth extractions, scaling and polishing and pain medication to go home.
