On top of this, our new plant tanks are scheduled to be finished just in time for our big plant order arriving at the same time. Talk about last-minute!

Update: Thanks to your generosity, the family has met all of their needs and no further donations are needed! Once hiusing is secured, we will update for furniture needs.

Donations are coming in full force for the victims of the Guilford Street fire that happened a couple days ago! We are open 12-5 today and will be accepting drop offs all week. Volunteers will be picking up today to distribute to the family as well.

Structure Fire Update:
280 Block of Guilford Street.
We ask for respect in the comment sections as there was a family member lost in the fire.

If anyone is able to help in any way, toiletries, food, and size 6/7 diapers are currently the family's biggest needs.

Clothing, toys, and basic essentials for 3, 4 and 7 year old boys. Gift cards (grocery, gas, pharmacy) would also be incredibly helpful during this time.

Boys clothes: size 4T/5, 7-8 shoes
Ladies size: Large
Mens size: 2XL and size 4 or 5XL

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from Summit Pets! ✨🎄

This Christmas feels especially meaningful for us. Christmas 2025 marks the very first year we have a Christmas tree! In past years, every spare dollar went toward prioritizing orders and making sure you could get your favourite fish, so a tree always came second. Reaching this milestone is something we are incredibly grateful for.

What makes it even more special is how this tree came together piece by piece through our community. The tree itself was generously donated by a pair of our regular customers, turned fish friends. The stars and bows were donated by our friends at JavaMoose. The ornaments were gifted by a long-term customer who has been with us since our very first year. Now it is filled with cards from our distribution partners and our amazing customers!

This tree is truly a reflection of the Christmas season of giving, and of the community that has helped Summit Pets grow over the past five years.

Thank you for being part of our Summit Pets family. We wish you and your pets a warm, joyful, and love-filled Christmas morning!

Local Bred Sterbai Corydora are now available!

We’ve recently implemented a price drop and a schooling discount for a limited time. Buy 5, Get 1 Free!

Sterbai Cory, a charming freshwater fish, quietly swims under the radar in the aquarium world. Yet, similar to some of the more famous Cory types, this fish makes a fantastic choice for almost anyone!

Very peaceful and suitable for many community tanks. Don’t keep it with anything very large or aggressive. Good tankmates include small characins, cyprinids, anabantoids, dwarf cichlids and other peaceful catfish. Always try to maintain Corydoras in groups as they’re far more confident and active in the presence of conspecifics. A group of at least six is best.
