🐱❤️ Happy International Cat Day! ❤️🐱

Today we’re celebrating all the wonderful cats who bring so much love, personality, and purrs into our lives! 🐾

And what better way to celebrate than with Kiwi 🖤🤍 and Angus 🧡🤍! These two handsome boys may have very different colouring, but they both have one thing in common — they’re absolutely adorable! 😻

Every cat deserves a safe place to call home, a cozy spot to nap, and someone to love them for exactly who they are. 💕

☀️ Hot Weather Warning ☀️

Today is expected to be hot, sunny, and humid, with temperatures reaching around 29°C. Please take a few extra minutes to help keep your pets safe and comfortable.

🐾 Provide plenty of cool, fresh water
🐾 Keep pets in the shade or indoors during peak heat
🐾 Never leave a pet in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes
🐾 Avoid hot pavement that can burn sensitive paws
🐾 Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler

Watch for signs of heat stroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or difficulty breathing. If you notice any of these symptoms, move your pet to a cool area, offer cool water, and seek veterinary care immediately.

A little extra care today can save a life. ❤️🐶🐱

We’re collecting pet food, litter, and other pet supplies for the animals in our care. Every donation helps, and donations purchased from any store are welcome.

Not sure what to bring? We’ll have our wish list at the event to help you choose.
