This generally hasn’t been an issue in the past, but lately it’s been happening more frequently.
I understand that things come up from time to time, but I’d also appreciate some consideration for how late arrivals, last-minute cancellations or no-shows affect my workday. When someone cancels at the last minute or doesn’t show up, I’m unable to fill that time and I don’t get paid for it.
With our last dog, he attended daycare, so I didn't schedule myself a break and was more available. With our new puppy, that’s no longer possible, so I need to plan my schedule more carefully.
