Regatta a GO!

Beachy Cove Animal Hospital will be closed today, August 5th, as our team takes the day off to celebrate the 208th Royal St. John's Regatta.

We will reopen for normal business hours tomorrow morning, Thursday, August 6th at 8:00am.

Best of luck to all the rowers and crews competing at Quidi Vidi Lake today!

If you are heading down to the lake with your pet to take in the races, please remember to pack plenty of fresh water for them. With the crowds and summer heat, keeping your pup hydrated in the shade is key to a fun, safe day out.

If your pet experiences a medical emergency while we are closed today, please call our main line at 709-700-4364 and follow the automated prompts to be connected to triage care.

Beachy Cove Animal Hospital will be closed on Wednesday, August 5th for Regatta Day. We will reopen for our regular business hours on Thursday, August 6th.

If your pet is running low on any food, supplements, or prescription medications, please give us a call or drop by the clinic to pick them up before we close at 6pm on Tuesday so you are fully stocked.

In the event your pet experiences a medical emergency while we are closed, you can still reach our triage team by calling our main line at 709-700-4364 and following the automated prompts.

The sunglasses are back on because Canada Day is just around the corner!

Beachy Cove Animal Hospital will be closed July 1st to celebrate Canada Day!

While we all love a good celebration, we know the Canada Day fireworks can be incredibly scary for our furry family members. To make things extra tricky, the forecast is also calling for some thunderstorms this week, which can trigger that exact same panic and noise anxiety for some pups.

If your pet struggles with loud noises, pacing, or hiding during storms and fireworks, please reach out to us as soon as possible! We have a variety of safe, fast-acting calming medications and supplements available to help them relax through the booms and whistles or claps of thunder. Don't wait until the storms hit—let's get a plan in place for your pet today.

If your pet is running low on their regular prescriptions, supplements, or therapeutic food, please give us a call or drop by the clinic to pick them up before 6pm on Tuesday, so you're fully stocked for the holiday!

In the unfortunate event your pet needs urgent medical care while we are closed for the holiday, you can still reach our triage team! Please call our main hospital line at 709-700-4364 and follow the automated prompts to be connected to care and directed to the on call hospital.
