We cannot believe they’ll be 5 weeks old tomorrow 🫶🏻
Our Jack x Paris little ones are not so little anymore. They’re on 3 meals of the puppy puree/mush daily, love to explore and trot around hiding their favourite toys, only nurse off momma P for a few moments a couple times per day, and are just the sweetest spicy boops.
Shown here is their potty training setup which we started implementing fresh (and cleaned) grass clippings, underneath the large grates, over top of p*e pads. This is a great system as it not only gets them comfortable with yet another different surface type to walk on, it also keeps them free from coming into contact with their p*es/poops (therefore preventing mess making all over their bedding area and toys) and also acclimates them to process that grass = potty area. They are such a clean group of puppies and took to the setup immediately - which we were kind of surprised but also weren’t because they truly are the best almost 5 week olds. Today has consisted of their daily deep clean, desensitizing with more household sounds, various music playlists, a variety of recordings (fireworks, screaming kids, a firing range, farm animals, demolition/construction, sirens, etc) and appropriately 500,000 individual wet nose kisses/boops while we smother them with love 🤣
Now they rest for their afternoon nap, whilst the warm May sun shines brightly into their puppy room, the warm breeze circulates through the opened window, and we step back to enjoy these precious moments. We so love raising our beloved litters ❤️
