First the floral ladies 🌼🌺

🌼Marigold🌼 is sweet as she is beautiful! This 1-year-old ginger girl arrived in our care as a stray. Her confident, loving personality did not take long to shine through. Marigold absolutely adores being held and will happily curl up on your lap for belly rubs while kneading away in pure happiness. She is incredibly affectionate, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and even greeted the family dog with friendly nose rubs.

🌺Lily🌺 is a one year old striking void lady. She is as sweet as they come. She absolutely loves attention and will happily curl up beside you for a cozy cuddle whenever you sit down. Lily gets along well with the other kitties in her foster home, but if she had it her way, she’d keep all the love and attention for herself.

Now the fun and freedom era girlies🫶🙌

🐱Dee Dee🐱 is a gentle soul who has truly blossomed with patience, kindness, and a few irresistible lickable treats along the way! While she may be a little shy at first, it does not take long for her loving personality to shine through. With a bit of encouragement (and maybe a tasty snack), Dee Dee happily comes out of her shell and shows just how affectionate and sweet she really is. Once she feels comfortable, Dee Dee enjoys attention, companionship, and forming strong bonds with her people

🌙🌟Nxy 🌙🌟has truly entered her fun and freedom era now that all her littles have left for their forever homes. Nyx is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and friendly girl with a calm, loving nature. She’s naturally curious and enjoys exploring her surroundings, but her favorite place will always be right by your side. The moment you give her attention, she rewards you with loud, happy purrs and endless affection. She absolutely adores cuddles and will happily rub up against you, asking for pets and companionship.

We’re looking for 2–3 motivated volunteers to join our fundraising team and help make a huge difference in the lives of cats in need!

What we’re looking for⬇️
🐱 Passion for helping animals
🐱 Fundraising experience is preferred, but transferable skills are welcome
🐱 Event planning experience is an asset
🐱 Ability to commit approximately 4 hours per week (with occasional additional time during busy fundraising periods)

Whether you have experience organizing events, working with sponsors, marketing, social media, community outreach, or simply a desire to help, we’d love to hear from you! Every dollar raised helps provide food, veterinary care, shelter, and a second chance for cats in need😸💚

Scarlett is a fearless, fun-loving girl with a big sense of adventure! 🐾 She is the ultimate “follower cat” and always wants to be wherever her humans are — even hopping onto the washing machine to “help” with laundry!

The most adventurous of her group, Scarlett loves exploring every corner of her foster home and is always searching for her next discovery. She is playful, energetic, affectionate, and absolutely thrives on attention. Expect lots of head rubs and requests for pets 💕

We’re rounding out this week with our favourite kind of post- it’s adoption 📯announcement📯 time!!

We had four💚💚💚💚 special kitties find their homes last Saturday at our adoption event hosted by our friends at PetValu Perth!! Ice, Luke, Magoo, and Sydney were all scooped up and found their purrfect matches. This was the best feeling as we didn’t have to bring anyone back with us- everyone at the event got adopted!! Woohoo!!!🥳Thank you so much to all these adopters for coming out and to PetValu Perth for making it all possible by hosting us!

Selena captured the hearts of our volunteers at Petsmart Barrhaven and then just like that, captured the hearts of her new family!! Nugget and Fang went home together to start their forever-after side-by-side! We’re so lucky to be able to host adoptable cats in-store at Petsmart, making so many of these happy endings possible. 😻😽😸

TJ and Evanie seem just as happy as their new family about going home!! We’re so excited to this pair go off to their next adventure together💌!! when it comes to kittens 🐱🐱

🐾💕 New Arrivals at Biscuits and Purrs Cat Rescue 💕🐾

Our rescue family is growing, and we are excited to introduce some very special new faces who have recently arrived—or are arriving soon—into our care.

🖤 Meet Lily, a stunning 22-month-old black beauty with a personality every bit as beautiful as her sleek coat. She is sweet, charming, and already winning hearts.

🤍🖤 Say hello to Benjamin, an adorable 3-month-old tuxedo kitten full of curiosity, playfulness, and kitten energy.

🐾 The Tux Family has also arrived! Proud mama Mimi and her three 9-week-old kittens are now safe with us. This sweet little family is settling in and receiving all the love and care they deserve as they prepare for their next chapter.

❤️ And then there is a story that reminds us why rescue matters so much.

This weekend, we will welcome a brave mama cat through the One Last Chance program. She had been scheduled for euthanasia simply because she was pregnant. Before transport could be arranged, she went into labor and experienced complications that required an emergency C-section. Thanks to the dedication of compassionate people who refused to give up on her, both mom and babies are now doing well.

A special freedom driver has generously volunteered to drive her 2½ hours directly to us, ensuring she avoids the stress of multiple transport stops. Upon arrival on Saturday, she will settle into a loving foster home where she can safely recover and focus on raising her precious kittens.

Every cat that comes through our doors has a story. Some arrive as strays, some are surrendered, and some narrowly escape heartbreaking circumstances. Because of our supporters, fosters, volunteers, and donors, these cats are given a second chance at life, safety, and love.

“I could never foster because it would be too hard to give them up.” We hear that sentence so often.
Imagine if everyone said that — and cats never found safety. ❤️ 🤔

At BPCR, our foster families are everyday people with organized homes, full lives, families, jobs and a shared desire to make a meaningful difference for displaced, abandoned, neglected, or unwanted cats.

Princess (in the photo here) is thriving in her foster home — enjoying quiet moments listening to guitar music, cuddling with her foster family, and learning what safety and love feel like in a new place with a view to a new beginning. Watching a sad and confused cat adapt to a new life is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable.

🐾 Jack : The Sweetest Survivor Looking for His Forever Home

Jackson—better known as Jack—is a handsome buff‑and‑white boy with a big build and an even bigger heart. Born in January 2021, he spent over a year surviving as a stray in Orleans, cared for by kind community members until he suddenly stopped eating and was brought into rescue. Today, he’s thriving and so ready for his next chapter. 💛

Despite his rough past, Jack is pure sweetness. The tiny scars he carries tell a story of survival, but they’ve only made him more loving and appreciative of kindness. Once he felt safe in foster care, his personality bloomed—he leans into pets, soaks up attention, and loves being close to his humans. 🥹✨

Jack is a happy foodie who enjoys wet food, dry food, and treats whenever he can get them. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully vetted. He gets along beautifully with other cats and even enjoys the company of friendly dogs. He comes when called by name and loves giving gentle kisses and sandpaper licks before settling in beside you for cuddles. 🐶💗
