👃🧠 A dog’s nose is one of their greatest tools!

Nose work allows dogs to engage in one of their most natural behaviours: sniffing, searching, and exploring the world through scent.

Mental stimulation: Using their nose requires concentration and problem solving, giving their brains a workout!
Confidence building: Searching and finding rewards can help dogs feel successful and more confident in their environment.
Emotional wellbeing: Sniffing gives dogs an outlet for natural behaviours and can help them decompress and relax.

Mental enrichment is just as valuable, all it takes is an egg carton and kibble to turn an ordinary meal into a rewarding activity!

No matter how many times I tried to help Loki “correctly” hold the frisbee, he would drop it instantly and pick it up like that🤣😆

Do I really need a dog walker? Let’s talk about it!🐾

If your dog is home alone for long stretches, bouncing off the walls, getting a rushed walk before work, or needing more time and attention than you can fit into your day… a dog walker might be exactly what you both need!

Coming home too tired to walk your dog doesn’t make you a bad dog owner. Life gets busy! Between work, errands, family, and everything else life throws at us, sometimes we need a little extra help. And that’s okay.

Your dog deserves opportunities to explore, sniff, move their body, and enjoy their day, even when your schedule is packed. A midday walk can help break up their day, provide enrichment, and give them something exciting to look forward to on the long days.

We don’t replace you. We fill the gap!🩷

Loki’s first 10 minutes on the Slatmill! 🏃‍♂️🐶
He’s still figuring out that HE’S in control, so we’ve got a little waddle going on!! But that’s what the learning process is all about! Taking it slow, building confidence, and letting Loki find his rhythm at his own pace. 🐾✨
