Position Overview:

We’re seeking a friendly and motivated Full-Time Sales Associate for a key holder position, responsible for closing the store. This is a great opportunity for someone comfortable around animals and who enjoys helping customers. As a key holder, you’ll take on additional responsibility for store security and closing procedures, alongside regular duties like customer service, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and work on their feet during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, knowledgeable manner
• Recommend appropriate products based on pet needs
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Stock shelves and rotate products (may require lifting up to 45 lbs)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory counts
• Follow store procedures and safety guidelines
• Interact with pets brought into the store
• Serve as a key holder, responsible for store closing procedures and securing the store

Requirements:

• Must be a pet lover, while being comfortable and confident around dogs, cats, and small animals
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs regularly
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Available to work full-time hours, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts
