❌ Rabbits are not good pets for children & are most definitely not a good Easter gift ❌

Rabbits might look like a cuddly toy & therefore be attractive to children who see a cute, fluffy bunny and decide they want one. However the reality is that Rabbits are rarely cuddly and children often lose interest quickly.

When purchased as a gift for a child, rabbits are often left alone in a hutch at the end of the garden or even abandoned. This is why it’s important to educate yourself on their needs before committing.

What to Pack for Your Bunny’s Stay at Reina’s Rabbits!

Heading out of town? If your rabbit is staying with us, here’s what to bring to help them feel comfy and secure:

A clean blanket or towel they love to snuggle in – it helps them settle in faster with a familiar item.

Their favourite chew toys – this is a big one! Chewing helps reduce stress, keeps their teeth healthy, and gives them something to do between meals and cuddles.

A few of their favourite treats – just let us know what they are so we can spoil them the right way.

Pellets and hay (if your bunny has a sensitive stomach or a history of GI stasis) – consistency is key for delicate tummies, so bringing their usual food helps us keep things smooth and safe.

As always, if you have any questions or special requests, just let us know! Your bunny’s comfort and health are our top priorities.
