Thank You for Making Our First-Ever Vendor Market a Success!

What an incredible day! As part of our 65th Anniversary celebrations, we were thrilled to host our first-ever Vendor Market in support of the local Ontario SPCA and Humane Society Lennox and Addington Animal Centre. We are overwhelmed by the community's support.

A heartfelt thank you to:

🐾 Our amazing market vendors who helped make the event special.
🎁 Everyone who generously donated raffle prizes.
🛍️ All who attended, shopped, participated, and supported the event.
❤️ Our volunteers and team members who worked behind the scenes.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, connect with new faces in our community, and welcome all the furry companions who joined us throughout the day. The smiles, conversations, and sense of community made this event truly memorable.

Thank you for helping us celebrate 65 years of caring for pets and the people who love them while supporting a wonderful cause. We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community.

Celebrating 65 Years of Caring for Our Community 🐾❤️

As we begin wrapping up our “Then & Now” series, we want to take a moment to reflect on the many people, pets, and memories that have made the past 65 years so special at Napanee Veterinary Hospital.

We are sharing a special anniversary photo album featuring past and present veterinarians, support staff, and employees, along with moments from throughout the years. We know there are so many wonderful memories beyond the clinic's walls, too, and we would love for our clients, former employees, and friends of the hospital to join us by sharing photos or stories in the comments.

Our 65th Anniversary Celebration takes place this Saturday, and we would love to welcome everyone out for a wonderful day here at the hospital as we celebrate the people and community who have supported us through the years.

🐾 Then & Now: Growing Through the Years 🐾

As part of our 65th-anniversary Then & Now series, we’re reflecting on the many changes and renovations Napanee Veterinary Hospital has undergone over the years.

The most significant transformation came in 2010 under the ownership of Dr. Ewen Ferguson and Dr. Rob Walsh, who purchased the practice from Dr. Wayne Robison in 2007. During those years, the practice primarily continued as a small animal and bovine practice, serving both pets and the agricultural community throughout our area.

The 2010 renovation was a complete rebuild and modernization of the hospital inside and out, allowing the practice to continue growing while providing progressive veterinary medicine and compassionate care to more patients and clients in our community.

We are grateful to Dr. Ewen Ferguson and Dr. Rob Walsh for their vision, years of leadership, dedication, and commitment to our patients, clients, team, and community. Their support, guidance, and contributions helped shape Napanee Veterinary Hospital into the wonderful practice it is today.

Following his retirement, Dr. Ferguson continues to be remembered fondly by clients, colleagues, and the community for his years of service and dedication to veterinary medicine. Dr. Rob Walsh can still be found throughout the countryside continuing his work in bovine medicine and serving the agricultural community he has cared for over many years.

Today, while our hospital has evolved and our focus has shifted to small animal care, the same commitment to compassionate veterinary medicine continues to guide us every day.
