When you book your kitty's vacation here, he or she will enjoy a home-like environment with plenty of personal attention. We offer three types of kitty suites: The Cougar Cave and Puma Pad are the smallest suites, the Leopard Lounges are 4 medium sized suites, the Lion's Den, Tiger Treehouse, and 2 Cheetah Chambers are the largest suites. The Cheetah Chambers can be partitioned should 2 kitties

from one home prefer their own space yet still be close. Each kitty suite has its own window with a pet-proof screen so your kitty can enjoy fresh air while in the safety of his/her own space. Multiple perches compliment each suite, as does a soft bed, built-in scratching post, litter box, and decorative touches such as curtains. Should your kitty desire some exercise or just a change of scenery, there is an adjoining Kitty Lounge, which contains two large cat trees, lots of toys, couch, chair and big glass doors facing a beautiful back yard. Here is where your kitty can enjoy his/her own play time, cuddle time or just hang out watching the birds and squirrels. Bookings are taken year round, but check our website for dates that we will be closed for personal holidays - kathyscatcare.ca. Pepe passed away earlier tonight. That little boy put up quite a fight for life over the last 6 days. Ultimately, he too didn’t get the benefit of enough time with his momma to strengthen his immune system. Rest in peace, little one. 😭

Faith and Fantasia have joined their sister Fancy and brother Farley across the rainbow bridge today. All 4 are gone because they were taken from their momma way too young, put in a backpack and driven to the Purr Project shelter. Their momma needed to be trapped, too, so that her kittens could nurse long enough to get the immunity-building nutrients in her milk. I wish their ‘rescuer’ had contacted us or some other animal rescue organization for advice first. Maybe these beauties would have had a real shot at life. And I wouldn’t have felt so heartbroken this week.
