Hello to our competitors for the second horse show of the year at Meadowlarke South o Sunday June 7. Following are the horse and rider lists for each division. The Beginner Division has been split into two flights due to the number of entries and to help accommodate as many horse preferences as possible whilst making sure that none of the horses are overworked during the day.

A few days before the show we will send out some timing estimates to help competitors with their show day planning.

We are deeply saddened to announce Willow’s passing this past week. Willow was rescued in 2013, she was a racing quarter horse and as happens to a lot of racehorses, when their career is over they go to slaughter. She was retrained to be a riding horse and was very successfully shown throughout her career as a Meadowlarke school horse. She competed in the Challenge Series, and at Meadowlarke North and South. Willow always tried her best and had a very gentle soul. She touched the hearts of many and taught many riders of various levels knowledgeable lessons, in and outside of riding. Willow has been retired at Meadowlarke North for the last 6 years and has enjoyed life with her friends Buffy and Sierra. She will be missed dearly, Rest in peace Willow.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Family Day Open House. Special thank you to all our wonderful staff and volunteers without their efforts this event would not be possible.
