Every year we make plans, create breeding schedules, and imagine how things should happen.
Every year our girls remind us that they have their own opinions. 😄
Autumn arrives... nothing.
Winter arrives... still nothing.
Spring... they think about it.
And then summer comes, and suddenly everyone decides that NOW is the perfect time to have kittens!
As a result, we spend the cold months answering, "Sorry, no kittens available," and the warm months wondering how so many tiny paws appeared all at once.
So without further ado, we'd like to introduce our newest litter K after Kissme Monterini*UA & Lasher Mount Desert’s*IT

I'm Goldie Monterini
I have a confession to make.
Goldie and I have been in a state of ongoing disagreement for weeks. 😄Every time I think I have made up my mind about her, she changes it. One day I look at her and think, "Well... she's nice." The next day I pick up my camera, take a few photos, and suddenly see a kitten that looks surprisingly promising. Then a few days later she changes again.
At this point, I honestly have no idea what she plans to become.
She is two months old now and still keeps me guessing.
She is definitely not one of those girls who immediately try to climb into your arms and fall asleep in your lap. She is a true little hooligan. Independent, busy with her own important business, and always ready to check whether she can climb into places she is not supposed to be, but somehow she is always nearby. Like a little shadow. Like a tiny dog that feels obligated to supervise everything I do.
And then there is her coat. I bathed her just a few days ago. Today she already looks as if she has been sweeping chimneys for a living. Meanwhile, all the other kittens look perfectly presentable. How she manages this remains one of life's great mysteries. So yes, I am still undecided about Goldie. Part of me wants to keep watching her develop because she is one of those kittens that never look quite the same twice.
But if the right family sees her and thinks, "That's our girl," I would certainly be open to a conversation.
Some kittens reveal everything at eight weeks old.
Others take their time. Goldie seems determined to keep her secrets a little longer

Sometimes the most beautiful kittens are not the ones everyone notices first.
J'adore has received very little attention so far, which honestly surprises me.
As breeders, we learn to look beyond the awkward stages of growth. Right now she has those oversized ears that remind me of a German Shepherd puppy, long legs, and all the charm of a kitten who is still putting the pieces together.
But when I look at her, I see her aunt.
The same expression.
The same ear set.
The same elegance.
The same promise.
The last photo is her beautiful aunt as a young adult.
Maine C**ns are a breed that teaches patience. Some kittens bloom early, while others take their time. J'adore is one of those girls who is quietly growing into something very special.
Sometimes the prettiest flower in the garden is simply the one that hasn't opened yet. ❤️

UPD Reserved ✨ Jewel Monterini — a little star looking for her forever home! ✨This fluffy lady completely lives up to her name — she is a true gemstone. She perfectly combines the signature, slightly "wild" Maine C**n look with an incredibly sweet and gentle personality. This little girl is very curious, loves exploring the world from the windowsill, and is always ready to offer her large tufted ears for some scratches. Sweet, playful, and very human-oriented, this baby is waiting for the best, most loving hands! 🐾

Sometimes breeding plans change, and we have to make decisions that are not easy.
Our beautiful Umber is now looking for a loving forever home.
At just 18 months old, she is still very much a young Maine C**n. She is affectionate, social, and always wants to be part of whatever is happening around her. Umber loves people, enjoys attention, and has the playful energy of a kitten who never seems to run out of ideas for fun. She has a stunning classic tabby coat with gorgeous marble patterning, silky texture, and the beautiful expression that makes everyone fall in love with her.
Because of her outgoing and playful nature, I believe she would thrive in an active family. A home with respectful children could be a wonderful match for her.
While we originally hoped to keep Umber as part of our breeding program, our plans have changed, and we are now looking for a family who will love and cherish her as much as we do.
If you think Umber might be the perfect addition to your family, please feel free to contact me for more information

Several members of the Monterini family have asked me how they can help animals affected by the war in Ukraine.
I would like to share a rescue that is very close to my heart.
Anastasiia Tykha's shelter is located in Irpin, Ukraine, my hometown. During the early months of the war, Anastasiia became known for rescuing and evacuating animals from dangerous areas, often carrying sick, injured, and disabled animals to safety herself. Her work received international recognition, and today her shelter continues to care for some of Ukraine's most vulnerable animals.
If you have been looking for a trusted way to help animals in Ukraine, I encourage you to learn more about their work and consider supporting them.
Thank you to everyone who has asked how they can help. Your kindness means a great deal. 🇺🇦🐾https://domkhvostov.in.ua/?fbclid=IwY2xjawSMGAhleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFnT0VTeWtVY1Q5cHQxRkFKc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHjT-L2xCeEUPQgps2SVO9nxgMGwpxt_nGUroWI3xyyu0-kCjMGI0C-yV1T5G_aem_4c2Xqo39WQydHIYmZCza0Q #
