🌟AHeartfelt Thank You From Cougar and Snowflake Meadows🌟

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Peggy, Farah, Sarah, Ellen, and K9 Security for their incredible generosity. Together, they have donated a total of $1,200 towards Cougars' emergency care.

Cougars was rushed to the emergency vet after his amazing foster noticed he was struggling to urinate. Thanks to her quick action, he is receiving the urgent care he needs. Currently, the rescue has incurred a deposit of $2,500, and we may face another $1,500 in costs if he doesn't start to improve by tomorrow.

A massive thank you also goes out to the staff at Kawartha Veterinary Emergency Clinic for taking such good care of Cougar while he's in the hospital. Your dedication and compassion mean the world to us!

❄️🩵 Meet Kujo! 🩵❄️

Once known as Mojo (but we just can't call him that—sorry, not sorry! 😂), Kujo is a sweet, gentle giant with a heart of gold. 💖

This big boy has faced more than his fair share of challenges in his 4 years of life. All three of his previous owners have sadly passed away, and now he’s found his way to us at Rescue.

WHAT THE HECK, right? 😢

Despite it all, Kujo remains the best boy anyone could ask for, bringing love and warmth wherever he goes. Let’s give him the chance he truly deserves! 🐾💕

🌟 **Macchiato Update!** 🌟

Meet our incredibly handsome boy, Macchiato! 🌈 While he may come in a small package, he’s definitely mighty and full of personality! This smart little guy was facing euthanasia due to some mouthing behavior, but we couldn’t say no to him. ❤️

Macchiato has now come to me in the rescue, where I can personally work on his behaviors. We’ve been dedicated to helping him redirect those behaviors, and we want to emphasize that they’re not horrible behaviors; they just need some guidance! 🐾

We’re feeling optimistic about the progress we’ve made, especially with a tool called the flirt pole, which you can see in the video below. Macchiato is a friendly pup with a mind of his own, and he’s currently working with an e-collar and doing exceptionally well. 🎉

For now, he’s on hold for adoption as we continue to work through his training. We just want to make sure we have the right solutions in place for him moving forward.

We are beyond grateful to share that every puppy from our Second Chance Litter has been fully sponsored thanks to an incredible outpouring of love and generosity. 🩷

These babies came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. Seized by the OPP after being abandoned without their mom, far too young to survive on their own. At just 6 weeks old, they required intensive, around-the-clock care, and YOU became the village they needed.

Because of our amazing supporters, each puppy will now receive:

🐾 Meet Dutton! 🐾

This sweet two-year-old American Bully with a beautiful chocolate mural is ready to find his forever home! 🌟 Dutton would love to stay with his mom, Monroe, who is 3 years old and also in rescue. While we hope for a loving home where they can be together, we understand that not everyone can care for two dogs.
