⚠️🚥 TRAFFIC NOTICE - SATURDAY 🚥⚠️

Please be advised of the funeral service for Kentville Engineer 1st Class / Lieutenant, Joel Neily.

The funeral service is taking place tomorrow, Saturday at 2PM at the White Family Funeral Home where many family, friends and firefighters will be gathering.

Firefighters will be marching to the funeral home, prior to the service and following the service a parade of trucks and vehicles will be departing.

You can expect an increased amount of traffic and pedestrians in town, especially near the courthouse, funeral home and fire hall along with bridge street.

Please use caution and expect delays while many gather to pay tribute.

Dam - NPCC Winsome’s Lucky Clover.

If it wasn’t for native Newfoundlander Cle Newhook, and his life long passion for the Newfoundland Pony, this beautiful, rare line c**t would not be standing on this earth. Nor would many others.

Cle passed away much too soon, but somehow, we know he is happy to see this c**t…brandishing his name

The girls have been getting all the attention lately, but I haven't forgotten about the boys! The young boy pasture had farrier day today, and I took the time to do some stuff with them.
Our QH, JC Star Dunit Again, tried out a new saddle pad and had a little lunge session. I didn't take the time to got get his saddle, just plopped the pony saddle on.
3 yr old Newfoundland Pony, Little Lorimer NPS 1056 finally hit 13hh! He had a lunge with a surcinge on to celebrate!
4 yr old Newfoundland Pony NorthStar Kiaron NPS 1003 was a little distracted by the girls outside, but we were happy to see that his new cinched fits, even if JimmyC'ssaddle pad doesn't!

All in all, a productive evening with the boys.

Outside together at last! Fancy's c**t by Fury, Patacake, is 5 days old. Clover's c**t by Cabot is not named yet and is 4 days old. The Momma's aren't ready to let them play together yet, but they are able to peacably share a big space.

Looking forward to the safe arrival of the rest of the foals so they can all be out together on grass!

How many dogs/cats are currently in the care of a shelter?

We don't know. There is no central registry. Or list of shelters for that matter.

We are all busy, we don't have time to keep tabs on each other's animals. Shelter burn out is high.

I spoke with a woman a couple summers ago who was shocked there were shelters here. She only knew about the spca

So how do we fix this? Bring awareness to local dogs?

Maybe it starts here... if other shelters want to message me with the number of animals and their fb page, I will do the work of a running tally and a list of shelters. Cats and dogs

The public can't know what we don't share.

Currently I have 8 (3 adults, 4 pups)

Share this with other shelters privately (I'm not trying to take attention away from their posts)

The young girl herd went on a walk about to the cow pasture. Although very scenic, it is too close to the young boy pasture for my liking!

Walking back home.tuckered them out and they had to have a little carcass time!
