We still have plenty of great golf weather ahead, with double-digit temperatures forecasted for the next two weeks.

This favorable fall weather has allowed us to make several course improvements:

- 10th Hole: The pond fill has been shaped, new red and yellow tee blocks will be added next year, offering a great new view of the hole.
- 18th Hole: A new greens nursery was seeded next to the 18th tee box.
- 5th & 12th Holes: New forward tees have been added.
- Bunker Maintenance: Work on bunker drainage will be ongoing.

We hope to see you out on the course soon!

We would like to wish Brad Taylor a happy retirement. After retiring from his career job with the County, Brad spent 15 seasons with us at The Fox.

He served as my assistant superintendent for many years, primarily maintaining our fairways and greens, and his hard work made the course significantly better. The grounds crew celebrated Brad earlier this week with a round of golf, a BBQ, and a gift presentation.

We look forward to seeing Brad out on the fairways next summer—this time, off the mower.
It was a pleasure to play golf with Brad when he had 2 holes in one.

Thank you, Brad.

All the best,

Patrick and all the staff and members from The Fox

Our big Fall aeration was completed successfully on Sunday night and Monday morning, aided by fantastic weather that helped speed up the process.

Following a very wet summer and an extremely busy season, this work was essential to relieve soil compaction and keep our greens in top condition. We deep-tined at 11 inches, hollow-cored at 3 inches, top-dressed, overseeded, and completed multiple rolls. The greens are currently rolling true and should be back to normal conditions within a day or two.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to the entire grounds crew for their hard work and long days. Their efforts made this process as quick and seamless as possible, minimizing disruption to play

Meet Rick Walker, our 2027 Cover Member 🏆

60 years in the game, and Rick still finds new ways to give back to it.

Through his membership, Rick's built real friendships with staff and fellow golfers, and he's become a familiar face on and off the course. But what really sets him apart is what he does beyond his own round.

Every year, Rick volunteers with , running tournaments that give athletes more chances to build skills, grow their confidence and show what they can do, while having a great time doing it. ⛳️

Rick shows what golf can be: a community that lifts people up and opens the door for the next generation of golfers.

Thank you to everyone who played in the Fox Ladies League this season. Thank you for making the best of the final evening despite the power outage; thankfully, we were able to make it work.

I would like to extend a special thank you to Ann and Emily for founding this sold-out league, doing an amazing job running it all season, and organizing a fantastic wrap-up banquet.

Shout-out to Steve and his staff for providing a great meal for the banquet and wonderful food all season long.
