And last, but certainly not least, for our RVT Month Introductions!

Carly grew up in Delburn, AB and after completing her RVT practicum here at Weir Veterinary in 2011, we knew we wanted to keep her! She stayed with us for 5 years, before moving on to our friends at Hardes Veterinary Services in Turtleford, and then returning to us in February of 2023. Carly has always loved small animal dentistry and being given the opportunity to train new staff and students. Carly is currently on maternity leave with her and her husband Trevor’s first son, Cohen.

What We Love About Carly?
She is very compassionate and values the importance of quality of care for all animals. She also has a witty humor, which is a bit unexpected because of her quiet nature! She’s also been known to be caught cuddling all sorts of animals when left alone!

RVT Month Introductions;

Jenna grew up in Unity, SK and started with us in May 2018. She received a diploma in Resource and Environmental Law from the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Campus in Prince Albert before completing her RVT at Lakeland College in Vermilion. Jenna and her husband Dylan, have 3 kids, Jack, Kaydence, and Lyla, and are currently in the process of moving to Kitscoty.

What We Love About Jenna?
She is a mom through and through! In everything she does, she has that ‘mothering energy’ about her- in the way she cares about the lives of her coworkers or the way she treats animals, she is always gentle and kind in nature.

RVT Month Introductions;

Lauren grew up on an acreage outside of Lashburn, SK where her family still lives today. She started with us in April 2021 after coming to us from the good folks at Gateway Veterinary in Melfort, SK, where she worked alongside Dr. Robyn Hope.

What We Love About Lauren?
Lauren loves a good prank! While we still can’t prove it… Last spring she hid 100 plastic ducklings around the clinic! She’s also been heavily relied on in after hour emergencies! She answers the call, no matter what time of day! And for that, we are exceptionally grateful.

RVT Month Introductions;

Jadyn grew up on a farm North of Hillmond, SK where her parents still live today. Although she started out as a cat lover… Working at the clinic has convinced her to get one dog (named Phoebe!) to add to her crazy cat family. She and her fiance Lane have been together for 8 years, and are to be married this coming March!

What We Love About Jadyn?
Jadyn has a calm, cool, collected nature about her. It’s very rare to see her with her feathers ruffled no matter what’s happening in the clinic. She’s got a wonderful attention to detail and has taken a keen interest in the lives of her coworkers.
