Bonny Seed Wreaths We are located in central Alberta. We make bird seed wreaths for winter feeding and bird watching. Place a wreath in view of a window and enjoy the show.

The wreaths are a welcome treat all year long & are a nutrional boost especially in the winter. Bonny Seed Wreaths are created to be outside primarily during the winter months to feed the birds and provide enjoyment through bird watching. If you plan to store your wreath keeping it frozen will promote it’s longevity. Stored improperly especially for extended periods can see mould growth which Bonny Seed Wreaths is not liable for. Check out what is going on here at Ellis this August! We have a busy schedule to round out the summer including our 24th annual bug jam paired with our first annual moth night. Ending the summer with our Harvest Dinner Fundraising Gala. Here’s some interesting information on our little friends that have become a hot topic of late.

Have you seen a billion of these tent caterpillars this year? They are not an infestation, rather a native species that only comes out once in a while. Just like cicadas these tent caterpillars aren't around every year, they have around a 10 year cyclical bloom. They are great sources of food for birds with their abundance!

If you didn't like seeing these critters everywhere then you're in luck, as the surviving caterpillars should be beginning to cocoon in the next week or two!
