Our time in Arizona thank you for letting us visit this beautiful place !! Our time there had some ups and some downs as with every risk you take there is always trials that seem to come with it. Mark was able to stay with Stetson and I for a month which was wonderful as most know we hardly see one another so that was great!! I then spent 2 1/2 months as a single mom again. I was able to make it to six competitions 3 that were majors, I managed to drive our 4 horse 2 dogs and Stetson to all our shoots in areas I’d yet to ever go. Proud to say the truck and trailer is still in one piece. As a mom I’ve found competing is very nerve racking yet rewarding, as I was mostly worried about loosing my son. After that many competitions in a short amount of time it felt as though I’d done a marathon. Very stressful lol 😆 but I did it. I wanted to thank those that helped me the 3 sisters, you 3 are truly amazing we need more shooter moms !! Cause we get it !! And the Barb Morris and Mike Morris you helped me out so much !! So thankful. And our good friends Chad and Julie Georgell we love you two and the boys !! 💕And Wendy and Randy Fernets for putting up with us.😉. Also all of those who stepped into help it truly took an army.
We also had decided to sell our beloved Styker south and as God once again showed up and Danny Dan Urness came and tried him out and as it turned out he was the man for that horse !! They became an amazing team in a short amount of time !! Dan and his family have given him a great home. We are so thankful, we look forward to watching him and Stryker kick butt 😉! We will miss him. 💕But knowing he’s gotten a great home has made it a lot easier!!
Along with Competing and riding and more riding, there was some unexpected trials, But at the last month I had mentioned to Markus how I truly wanted to focus on Learning more about roping. Well as it turns out Wendy has a wonderful neighbor Billy, who had let me come over and rope whenever they were roping but with all the competitions I hadn’t been able to go much. So pretty much after I spoke those words this amazing horse woman showed up across the road. That I had followed for about 5 years but had yet to ever meet. Pushin' Forty Horse Training, Genie taught me so much more then roping I learned it’s not as easy as it looks 😉! My horsemanship evolved so much thanks to this opportunity, I’ll be forever thankful we crossed paths. In a world of short cut trainers and band aid trainers there is still some truly amazing True trainers and those are the ones I respect and aspire to be. ( always learning no matter what God has his hand in our lives and through unexpected problems he has a way of showing up and showing us he’s still incontrol) I learned so much and I tried my best to go over there as much as possible! Also my sweet Son grew up so much learning where and where not to be, how to entertain himself while I was busy so I could hurry up and get to be with him. All in all I’m thankful for these past months. And I’m so thankful to be home in our happy place 😉!
