A warning to all aqha breeders . Sorry but this is a longer post.
I have been breeding for over 20 years and as a rule we try to go above and beyond for our customers . This includes helping with aqha paperwork . Last fall I sent in a few transfers in the same envelope, 1 was mine and 1 was a customer who purchased a horse. I have been sending emails and getting generic answers , called and was told work would be completed and it was not . Called back to see why and was told they were billing my transfer of the horse I bought to the other person . And refused to correct there mistake . There logic was that it was on that person cuz it was in the same envelope! They wanted them to renew their membership before they would do my transfer and the foal that was needing to be registered and dna for that mare was all on hold for 8 months because we shared postage ! Eventually my stubbornness and demanding a supervisor they relented and said this was a 1 time only thing and scolded me for their screw up! The 2 horses were unrelated ,separate totally in every way and obviously the new horse owner was quite concerned why aqha was sending them huge bills . So a warning to everyone, don’t share an envelope with anyone , apparently it’s to much confusion for there office staff!
