Malibu is a sweet and energetic rescue girl who loves hikes, swimming, fetch, cuddles, and spending time with her kitty siblings. It’s hard to believe she’ll be turning 6 this year.

When Malibu was rescued at just five months old, she had already experienced significant trauma and struggled with severe separation anxiety. Through years of patience, routine, training, and love, she has grown into the calm, cuddly, and trusting dog she is today.

On May 24th 2025, a very shy but incredibly sweet girl named Layla came into my home as an emergency foster. She had originally been rescued from Mexico and brought to a rescue farm in Texas almost two years earlier, but sadly had received no applications.

Then on July 14th 2025, my late mother’s birthday, Layla officially became mine. Since then, she has grown into a confident girl with her pack friends, has made amazing progress with her fear of men, and is even visiting hospital patients to spread comfort and joy.

Her favorite things in the world are her ball, her Christmas bear and watching her continue to grow has been one of the greatest gifts 💛
