Here’s a moment with Ireland, she stood for five minutes, ground tied, just waiting for me while I went to get a brush. From the time she was a baby, I’ve built this foundation in groundwork. For me, it’s never just about exposure,it’s about giving a horse the space to regulate, to be curious, and to grow brave:not reactive. Whether it’s a young horse, a horse just starting under saddle, or a senior horse finding safety in new skills, these foundational steps create real trust on the ground and in the saddle. Sweet dreams sweet Minnie . Last night with this little bean . I don’t own a little dog any more but I did have a chihuahua that I loved dearly and he lived for 17 years ❤️

I soak in every opportunity I can to love on my small friends (still working on Chris for my small dog ) as there is nothing like the love of a small dog 🐶

My name is Kasey Miner, and I have been a coach in various aspects of my life, for as long as I can remember. Between traditional horseback riding coaching, to coaching clients through active addiction and mental health challenges, my life vocation is without a doubt, to help others.

As a registered coach, I have established a coaching program that embodies everything I strive to foster in the horse industry - equine connection.

My philosophy of riding begins with understanding equine body language, how human energy affects horse behaviour, and establishing empathy for them as a sentient being - all of which can be learned and practiced outside of the saddle.

With over two decades of experience as a Child and Youth Worker, specializing in Mental Health and Addictions treatment, my program uses a holistic approach to garnering an emotional connection and understanding of the horse, meeting both you and the horse at the skill and comfort level you’re currently at, and embracing all of the emotions and feelings along the way.

With my combined background of traditional coaching and mental health supports, my program not only provides guidance and learning in the saddle, but also mentorship towards navigating the challenges that life presents you.

My program is founded on connection - connection with horses, connection with a community, and connection with yourself.

It’s been a long few days for the crew at KC’s Kreature comfort .

We have had loss and birth , which highlights the highs and lows of loving animals and showing up in moments people need me.

I am there for you on the hard days and the good days with your animals and feel privileged to be trusted to provide support and care .

Whether it be an emergency foaling, catastrophic injury or an overnight farm stay filled with joy: I will take care of your animals to the best of my ability with love and care .

Reminder to love your animals right and celebrate the joyful moments with the magnificent animals we get to live alongside .
