Another trial in the books! Huge congrats to everyone who competed in the SDDA scent detection started and games trial today! Another wickedly hot day, but everyone made the best of it!
The quality of dogs today was amazing, I’ve never seen so many Qs, well done everyone! So fantastic to see so many teams absolutely crushing it!

What an absolutley fantastic time on Sunday for the SDDA advanced trial! It was a super hot day but everyone made the best of it! Thank you SO much to my volunteers for all the hard work, to Meaghan my trial secretary for all the behind the scenes computer stuff that confuses me, and to our amazing judge Guy Lahaye for some great searches! Two big MACH titles were earned, how awesome is that?! All in all, a very successful day. Between the raffles, hotdog lunch, 50/50 and Leos corner, $890 was raised for Northern Transitional Dog Rescue who are front runners helping with the recent wildfires!

Edited to add - some pictures and the BIGGEST thank you to Anne for allowing us to use her beautiful property and invade her home!!!

Huge congratulations to Dominik and Leia for earning their SDDA Elite title!! The first DogMinds student to do so, and very well deserved. Elite is a handler mind game. Unknown number of hides (could be zero), hides can be 4’ above a stable surface, human food distractors, and you have to pass all three components in one trial to earn the title. A lot has to come together to get here, and I am so proud of these guys!!

Huge shoutout to these two teams on their recent titles at the Tailwaggers SDDA scent trial in Pembroke!
🏆 Meaghan and Fawkes finally conquered the excellent interior component to earn his SD-E-SP!!!
🏆 Sue and Drama nailed it in their first ever trial earning her SD-S-SP!!
Both of these teams have worked incredibly hard to get where they are at 🥰 Go little dogs! Onwards and upwards!
