Our Story

Kemptville Pet Valu is the premiere pet supply store in the North Grenville area. Visit us in the Kemptville Colonnade Plaza located at Highway 416 and County Road 43!

Kemptville Pet Valu has been part of the North Grenville community for a very long time. Back in the 1980s, it started out as a Berrys Pet Food outlet. In 2008, the name changed after Berrys became part of the Pet Valu family. Four years later, the store relocated to a larger space in the Colonnade Plaza from its original home on Asa Street.

In 2012 the franchise was purchased by Steve Clarke and Steven Pavlinek. We believe strongly in giving back to the community. We currently administer a highly successful cat adoption program, have events each month hosted by local rescue groups, and are proud to be one of the original sponsors of the leash-free dog park in Ferguson Forest.

Kemptville’s continued growth has required us to grow along with it. The store relocated for a third time in March 2018 to its new 4,600 square foot home on Ryans Well Drive (still in the Colonnade Plaza).
