🐾 Golden Retriever Fact!
Goldens actually have webbed feet, how cool is that? 🐾💦

They were originally bred to retrieve birds from the water, so the webbing between their toes helps them swim super efficiently, like little paddles! 🦆🏊‍♀️

No wonder they’re always diving into rivers on our hikes, it’s literally in their DNA.

The same group each week means stronger bonds, better behavior, and a calmer, more confident dog.

Meet Blizzard ❄️
This big, sweet foster boy is with us from Snowflake Meadows, learning the ropes of being a well-mannered, confident pet. He’s working on obedience, learning how to trust again, and doing great in his crate.

Blizzard warms up in about 10 minutes, and then he’s your shadow, playful, cuddly, and eager to be the center of your world. He needs a home with no male dogs (especially intact ones) and would do best with female dogs or as the only dog. Because of his size, we’re looking for a home with kids 12+.

His future family will get training support for life. He’s ready to start fresh, he just needs the right match.

This big-hearted boy is our foster from Snowflake Meadows, and we’re working on his foundation of obedience, confidence, and just learning how to be a dog. ⁠

After a rough start to life, Blizzard takes about 10 minutes to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s all in. Playful, goofy, and totally ready to be the center of your world. ⁠

He’s doing amazing in his crate and would be just fine crated while you’re at work or out of the house. ⁠

✨ Blizzard is looking for a forever home:

• Ideally female dogs only or no other dogs⁠

To our amazing Tails and Traills community-thank you for your continued support as we navigate a sudden shift. 💛

We’ve been asked to step away from the facility we were using for Pup Club. Despite our best efforts to collaborate, the facility owners and our business philosophy did not align, specifically when it came to visibility, and the security of the facility. This decision, made with zero notice, reflects a misalignment in values, but also our unwavering commitment to your dogs’ wellbeing.

We know changes like this can raise questions. If you’ve prepaid for Pup Club, check your inbox for options to continue with us or receive a refund. And if you’ve heard otherwise, please reach out. We’re happy to clarify directly.

This may be a change in location, but not in Tails & Traills growth🐾 We’re already working on what’s next — stay tuned!

What We’re Looking For:
• Safe trails or forested land (no livestock on site) decently maintained trails
• Access once a week
• Preferably fenced

What we Can Offer:
In exchange, we would be happy to walk your dog(s) as part of the group when we visit your property – totally free of charge! It’s a win-win: your pup gets exercise and socialization, and I get a safe space for our pack.
