When do you know it’s enough? In this profession, learning dog’s behaviour is key to everything to their success and having a successful business in this industry!

Dogs have off days like we do but they express it differently than we do! Excessive licking, drooling, panting, whining (you’ll know the difference when you hear it), sensitive to touch, jumping and the occasional snaps are huge signs. Now this doesn’t make the dog a bad dog, it means there’s something wrong, anxious, stressed or they’re not feeling well ect. Understanding animals behaviour has taught me it’s ok to be slow, it’s knowing when to be gentle and when to be firm to help them work through whatever it is and on occasion that can’t be done and that’s ok too☺️

As groomers we don’t always see the signs at first for example Gunner stopped by because he was extremely itchy but showed no signs of stress or irritation he was fine for the hand off, he was completely fine for his bath but soon as the dryer hit his skin he went to hyper sensitive and soon after had an accident on the table (which he never does) So we switched to a quick underbelly rewash and sent the poor boy home half wet with just his nails clipped🥹

I love all of your dogs, each of them differently but amazingly no less! I will never shy from the truth or make them go through something they obviously can’t handle to make money and that is the difference from a good groomer to a bad one!

Putting the dogs needs first above all else is everything to me, and the safety of your dog and myself is what matters most at the end of the day!

While I feel guilty not able to give your dogs the full service at times, I’m humbly reminded that it’s ok to give dogs the breaks they need to succeed🤗🐾💕

Hey‼️👋🏼

With heavy heart I have to announce to all of you wonderful human beings that as of July 25th, I will be closed for 6-8 weeks due to having a surgery!

That being said I am working as hard as I can to let everyone know and give everyone at least two months notice so we have a chance to get your fur babies in before I leave for Vancouver. I will also be reaching out to everyone who has pre booked appointments with me past July 24th to reschedule or adjust appointments🥹

I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have, especially on my regulars but don’t you worry I will be back for falls moulting season and my busiest time of year Christmas!🎄🤭

Please know each of you are well loved, and in order to continue giving you and your fur babies great services I must take care of my health first! I appreciate your patience and understanding while I navigate threw all of this major adjustments so soon🤗

This giant teddy bear stopped by to get some help removing some compacted coat, this sweet boy has sensitivity and allergies so we used his medicated shampoo to help ease his sensitive skin!
