Terrier, Tan, Adult, no chip or collar, Female.

Every stray animal that enters the care of the Georgina Animal Shelter is held under a 5 day redemption hold not including the day the pet arrives or any day in which the shelter is closed to the public. During the redemption period the shelter is unable to consider any adoption requests. Georgina Animal Shelter’s first priority is always to reunite lost pets with their owners. Hi everyone, I recently met someone who volunteers with The Bruno Project Canada , they are a non profit organization that finds homes for injured and stray dogs in Ontario and St Lucia.
For anyone who is interested we have an assortment of dog coats,t-shirts,leashes,collars, etc. all for a minimum cash donation of between $5 and $15 dollars depending on the item.
All money will go to The Bruno Project

Such a great day today at our local grooming competition! We had so much fun meeting new friends and groomers, seeing everyone compete and all their beautifully groomed dogs, and of course chatting about our favourite products 🥰🤩 thank you for inviting us and congratulations to everyone who competed!

We had a fantastic evening at the fashion show fund raiser for abuse hurts last night. We met some wonderful people, ate some great food and even did a little shopping all in support of a great cause❤️ thank you Jackie Playter for making me aware of this event which is only one of so many things you do to support the community. You are an amazing woman!

Under veterinary care, multiple rounds of oral antibiotics tried, months of medicated baths, steroids, and she was so uncomfortable she would chew all her hair out and I would remove chunks of it from her teeth (it would get all wrapped around and form a piece)

Still under veterinary care though antibiotics, medicated baths and steroids were stopped. Healthy skin restored, hair regrown, no more visible discomfort (look at the difference in her posture!), and no more continued medication.

This was a long road of recovery for Scruffy and prevention is easier, more effective and more cost effective than correction.

When we heard Ben was having surgery to remove a lump on Thursday, and the area will have to be shaved anyway, why not shave it in the shape of a heart and add a little color❤️

🎭🙀Costumes are cute, but ensure they're comfortable and safe for your pets.
🚪🏃‍♂️Secure your pet with a leash or in a separate room or kennel if you're handing out candy to prevent escapes!
🐈‍⬛😳 Keep your cats inside tonight, especially black cats.

3 Keys to healthy skin

✨PH BALANCE; fungus, particularly yeast - is very common overgrowth found on pets skin. Yeast is VERY ITCHY. Make you wanna chew your foot off itchy. It also thrives in a certain PH range. Maintaining a pets natural PH balance helps prevent fungal overgrowth

🧴SEBUM; sebum is a greasy, waxy, PH balanced, substance produced by the skin. It helps protect, feed, and hydrate the skin. It’s slick, making it harder for bacteria, fungus, and parasites to get a hold on the skin.

💧HYDRATION; hydration helps maintain all of the above, and a well hydrated coat maintains moisture for the skin too. Keeping the skin well hydrated makes it easier for dead dead skin cells to shed, PH levels and sebum to be maintained - it all works hand in hand!

Bathing every 3 weeks with quality products to ensure their ph balance, sebum production and hydration, is the best thing you can do for your pets skin 💜

Nutrition is a commonly thought of influence of skin issues - however, it takes a long time to see a difference come from the inside out. 3 months minimum if doing an elimination diet or food trial to see any changes. Topical is instantaneous, even if it’s not the source, it’s helpful to feed the skin and hair and soothe the skin.
