A few things grief teaches you in time: ⏳

That the second year may be harder than the first.
That certain songs will always belong to certain people.
That caring for something living—like a plant or garden—gives your love somewhere to go.
That you don’t stop missing someone, you just get better at carrying it.
That asking for help is not the same as falling apart.
That falling apart is okay when you need to.
