A few new items and changes this season. Every year we change up varieties of tomatoes, peppers etc, here are a few new additions.

The bareroot strawberry plants we offer going forward are all “Everbearing”varieties now. That seems to be what you all want, so that’s what you shall get 😀
Albion and Seascape are the two varieties for 2026.

Millenium Asparagus crowns, Holy Basil and Garlic Chives as completely new items (I am sure there are others I can’t think of at this moment)

Still waiting on nursery confirmations on a few items before I post lists of everything .

It’s Microgreens time!!

So most of you know Pat, Pat has worked with Fogarty’s for the last number of years, he is in the process of building his own Suburban Farm Perry's Atlantic Produce

While his farm is being built he is still going to be involved with Fogarty’s. There are a few products Pat will be supplying us with this year, one being Microgreens!!!

So the goal from our perspective……
Grow a product that’s of great value to you, unmatched quality and shelf life.

These greens are 100% organic without the certification, they are grown in certified organic soil mix, no synthetic fertilizer or pesticides/ herbicides.

Hey “Patio Peeps”!

New this year! We have a line up of “Patio Appropriate Plants”. These varieties have been bred to be grown in plant pots.

Some “Peeps” have space constraints from living in a condo or apartment.

Some “Peeps” prefer to grow a few things in pots on their decks because they have terrible deer/ critter pressures.

Lastly some like to grow smaller more manageable plants because they like to garden but can’t dedicate as much effort or time.

Hey folks!

I am full of it, I said I was going to take a break from selling fruit trees but I decided the party shall continue on!
I am not interested in selling apples or regular pear trees, from my experience folks are looking for stone fruit.
I managed to secure 5 varieties of peaches (one being a donut variety), 2 varieties of nectarine and 2 varieties of sweet cherry, a white Rainer variety and a dark sweet cherry 🍒 🍑 🍩

I am currently in the process with our new tree nursery to grow Fogarty’s Japanese Plums, Apricots and Asian Pears for the following years to come.

I will post varieties and pricing at a later date, and yes our price will squash competitors as always 😂.

We are closing down for the season for great reasons folks! Because of you and your support, we are growing! Get ready for better availability, consistency and crop volume! Watch the video!

I am out of burnout and getting ready for spring 💪

Continue to send resumes so i have them on file, ALSO! I have secured a new company for sweet cherry, peach, nectarine, apricot, asian pears and japanese plums. We should have fruit trees again for this 2026 season.

Welcome to FMG!!!!!!! Fogarty’s is an Urban Market Garden in HRM! Our goal is to offer an abundance of locally and holistically grown produce at a price that can’t be beat.

This is the first year opening our doors for vegetable transplants and fruit tree sales. We have thousands of heritage, organic and hybrid varieties of vegetable transplants as well as fruit trees and shrubs by the hundreds.

Produce sales will not begin until the 2021 growing season as 2020 is going to be solely a trial season for testing and perfecting our growing and harvesting practices.

You will notice we do not have our address posted on our site, that is because we are not open for on site sales, we deliver to your door! Give us a call and see the value we have to offer!
