Meet Misu!

Misu is a sweet, spunky girl who was recently returned to us due to her owner’s personal circumstances. Since coming back, she’s been with us for over a month, and we’ve loved seeing her lively personality truly shine!

Misu is full of energy and joy — she loves to play fetch, go for walks, and gets the cutest zoomies! She’s also fully house-trained and crate-trained, making her a wonderful companion in the home.

Misu is looking for a very specific forever home. She must be the only pet, as she can be reactive toward other dogs. With the help of a positive-based trainer and consistent work, she can continue improving her socialization skills.

She would thrive best in an experienced home where her new family will be patient and give her the time she needs to adjust. Misu can be sensitive to being picked up, but we are already seeing great progress with her, and she continues to build trust every day.

Misu has been back with us for almost a month. She has started to show her true colours showing us she is a loving/caring dog that really enjoys a human touch. She does phenomenal with bathroom breaks, gets the zoomies when we take her outside but after a good run she will settle down and enjoy her toys or bone. Misu is a 1-year, 8-month-old French Bulldog who was recently returned to us due to personal reasons. Formerly known as Nala, she is a smart, affectionate, and energetic girl looking for a home that understands her needs and is committed to helping her thrive.

What Makes Misu Special?
• Loyal & Loving: She adores attention, cuddles, and being close to her person.
• Playful & Active: Misu loves to run, play fetch, and entertain herself with toys.
• Smart & Trainable: She knows commands, is treat-motivated, and thrives with positive reinforcement.
• Crate & House Trained: She has a structured daily routine and is comfortable in her crate.

What Misu Needs in a Home:
• Dog-Savvy Owners: A family with breed experience and patience to help her build confidence.
• Solo Pet Household: She has not been socialized with other dogs and needs a home without other pets.
• Gentle Handling: She has sensitivities around being picked up and prefers to keep all four paws on the ground.
• Low-Stair Living: She isn’t comfortable with many stairs, so a home with minimal stairs would be ideal.
• Continued Training: She can be reactive to the TV and new situations, so desensitization and confidence-building will be important.

Daily Routine & Fun Facts About Misu:
• Enjoys morning, midday, and evening walks.
• Sleeps in a crate or playpen with a set bedtime.
• Loves playing in the snow and rain—she’ll even try to catch raindrops!

Meet Clover!

Clover is a sweet and sensitive girl looking for a patient and loving forever home. She was recently returned to us and has spent the past three weeks adjusting to her new surroundings. While initially unsure, she has slowly started to warm up and is learning to socialize with our dogs. Clover is naturally submissive and takes time to build trust, but once she does, she loves being by your side.

She knows basic obedience and is highly treat-motivated, which has been a great tool in helping her gain confidence. Although she wasn’t previously crate trained, she is improving every day and making great progress with housetraining through positive reinforcement.

Clover would thrive in a calm, patient home where someone is around often to provide the reassurance she needs. She may be able to live with another well-mannered dog who respects her social cues.

It’s important to recognize that, although you’ve had time to think this through, Clover has no idea that an unknown family, strange household, and different expectations are about to become her new reality. She will need at least a few months to develop trust, feel comfortable, and learn her role. If you’re willing to give her the time, patience, and love she deserves, Clover will be a devoted and loving companion.
