🚨 Volunteer Opportunity – Satellite Location Coordinator 🐾 📍Remote (Wellington County preferred) | ⏰ 2–5 hrs/week (varies)

Arthur Animal Rescue is looking for an organized, compassionate animal lover to join our team as a Satellite Location Coordinator! 🐱 This volunteer role supports our satellite adoption locations, helping manage cat placements, coordinate site visits, and keep records up to date.

✨ What we’re looking for:
✅ Strong communication & organization skills
✅ Independent, detail-oriented, and passionate about animal welfare
✅ Experience in rescue/shelter work is a plus
✅ Access to phone, laptop (required), vehicle (an asset)

When rescues team up, amazing things can happen! 😻 This week, we saw incredible teamwork to ensure cats got to safety.

On Thursday, we assisted a Cats Anonymous Rescue and Adoption volunteer who found a kitten roaming near a busy road. The volunteer was unable to safely secure the kitten without a live trap, so she reached out to The Remmy Project who jumped into action to reach out to rescue contacts for help. With the quick help of our TNR Admin, we secured the kitten, who is now in foster care at Dorset Rescue Kittens.

The next day, a Dorset volunteer reached out to us to help secure a heavily pregnant stray. She’s now safe, and we’re making sure this is her last litter.

It’s not about who gets there first; it’s about working together for the best interest of our feline friends! ❤️🐈

One of our lovely fosters, Donna, is hosting a garage sale in Mount Forest in support of Arthur Animal Rescue. 100% of the money made will go directly to the vet care for the more than 130 cats we have in our care.

If you have any items that you would like to donate to this cause, they can be left by the shed door in the driveway. Items can include but are not limited to housewares, decor, children’s toys, etc.

This will be a two day event on August 30th and 31st, from 8am-3pm both days, we hope to see you there!

is hosting a Kitty Yoga event in support of Arthur Animal Rescue. We are changing things up this time, and there will be a Restorative Sound Healing aspect during this session as well! 100% of the proceeds from this event go towards vet care for the more than 130 cats currently in our care.
Join us Wednesday, September 17th from 6-7pm for an hour of relaxing yoga, singing bowls and kitty fun!

We anticipate lots of kittens running around, as well as adult cats at this event for you to interact with. Spots are limited so be sure to register now by emailing [email protected] with a minimum donation of $25 per person!
Taught by the owner of Karma Yoga Studio, Morgan Story! Please bring a yoga mat and a water bottle with you.

This is a great way to meet some of the adoptable cats with Arthur Animal Rescue, and have a fun evening with friends and family in support of our kitties.

Millie came to us months ago as a kitten after being trapped at Pike Lake. She was the slowest to come around of the bunch, but we knew her family was out there! Congrats to Millie’s new family, you have a very special girl on your hands.

Fun fact; Millie is siblings with Gillian, who was also adopted from the Alley Cat Cafe some time ago!

We know so many of you want to help by bringing cats and kittens to us, but right now our doors have to stay closed for new intakes. The truth is, our rescue is stretched thin on resources, space, supplies, and people.

But don’t worry: this isn’t forever. With the amazing support of our community, we’ll bounce back. Every adoption, donation, and foster signup brings us closer to opening intakes again.
