Golden Off Leash Dog Park This park provides a safe place to play and exercise your dog off-leash. A huge thank you from the Dog Park Volunteer Team... 🐾

There are dog waste bags onsite for your use and a water tap, so please bring your own water bowl for your dog. We are looking to improve the services and facilities at the dog park over time and this does require funding so if you feel like donating then please do so by e-transfer to [email protected].

Please pick up in the dog park.

There are some frozen into the ground which isn’t pleasant for the users of the park.

If you are able to help dig these out while you are there with your dog, this would hugely be appreciated.

A reminder to pick up after your dog please. It’s got bad in the park and if it’s not kept tidy then town could close it again.

With the lack of volunteers right now it’s hard to stay on top of this so please be thoughtful to everyone that wants to use the park and not be walking in mess.

If you see it and it’s not your dogs, please pick it up.

🐾 The trails have been ‘ploughed’ for you and your dogs at the dog park!

🐾 Most of the equipment has been cleared of snow for your continued use and enjoyment with your pooches.

🐾 The garbage bins are cleared of snow, so please remember to pick up and throw away (thank you).

🐾 If you have a snow shovel then why not bring it with you to help keep the trails clear.

🐾 Please be careful with the gates into the park. Clear the snow where possible first before opening. We like our gates in one piece and not bent.

🐾 Enjoy the snow! Finally ❄️

🐾 Please note that the dog park is closed today (Sunday) from 1pm-2pm for a private rental 🐾

🐾Some Housekeeping..🐾

- Please be aware that the water is now turned off at the dog park.

- There isn't a notice board at the park (yet) and we are all for finding lost pets, but please do not staple lost or missing posters to the dog park signs. It will damage them. TIA.

- The park is looking great, thank you, and keep up the good work with picking up if you see it.

- The dog play equipment will become slippy with the change of weather, please take care whilst using it...soon they'll be covered in snow.

- Flags will be installed onto each of the equipment pieces so when the deep snow does arrive, you'll know where they are.

- Keep enjoying the park!!
