Not gonna lie, I got a lil emotional leaving all my dogs, and saying good bye my kennel doggies picked up yesterday.
I have never been without a dog or multiple doggies, a space just feels empty without them. Knowing how I am feeling today about leaving mine in trusted hands keeps me humble that I get to care for yours.
Thank you for letting me love yours too.
Will be back soon, and there might be a dog or two in our travels!🇨🇦✈️🇬🇧✈️🇨🇦

Alright, now that you’ve seen me powerwash the kennel, what have I actually done inside the house to prep for the canine chaos about to ensue?
I have 5 personal dogs, and my trusted best friend is moving in with her 2! That makes a lot happy pups under one roof.
We’ve set up 4 crates as cozy, safe retreat spaces for when anyone gets a little grumpy or over-stimulated. Plus, 4 extra-large dog beds are stationed around the house!
All small shelves and kitchen chairs have been cleared out to maximize playtime space, though am sure the couch is where the action will take place.
Leashes and collars are easily accessible in a basket right on the counter, and yes, true to form, there are notes upon because you know I LOVE a good note!
Just like the kennel, I have done up care sheets and veterinarian consent forms, as well as contacted the clinics.
The best part? This was totally a volunteer mission, and we are 100% ready for the chaos. Oh, and don’t worry about my Great Dane, she has literally never slept without a human, so she’ll fit right in sharing a bed with her new hooman!

Ever wonder what actually happens behind the scenes when we close up for the holidays? Oh heck, we never completely closed and left before! We did not have a plan, but knew it was prime time to go full nuclear clean mode!
Today we turned everything upside down, hauled out all the equipment, grabbed the pressure washer, and gave the entire setup a deep power wash.
Once everything was spotless, we dried it down in record time using our heat pump and two massive barn fans. Finally, we locked it down with a deep sanitation using veterinarian grade commercial cleaners.

Just a quick reminder of the luxury digs your pups get to enjoy when they stay with us:
Spacious Suites: Ranging from 4x6 to 6x8 feet.
Fully Climate-Controlled: Keeping them cozy no matter what the weather is doing outside.
Double-Wall Partitions: Solid walls between each kennel to keep pups calmer, happier, and totally safe (no fence-fighting and safe places to eat without watching other dogs!).
We clean and sanitize daily all year round... but today? Today I meant business.
We are officially getting ready for the holiday break!
