Just like his name, Soda is the biggest sweetheart. Getting to watch your pups grow is so special to me, they become like my own.🥹

Soda’s been part of the Royal Family since we first began in 2019. We’ve been so lucky so share Christmases and Halloweens, meals and snuggles, long walks and longer naps together — The Palace is never safer than when Soda is guarding and greeting every guest at the door. We love you, !

Hey, I’m Shalene—Queen of the Palace and the one who makes sure your pups are cared for like they’re my own. 👑

I started Barkingham Palace in January 2019 because I couldn’t bear the thought of my Shih Tzus being home alone while I worked. I wanted more time outside with them and thought, why not share that love with other people’s dogs too?

Here’s a little about me:
🐾 I’m completely Shih Tzu obsessed.
🐾 I know the best ice cleats for those icy dog walks.
🐾 I may or may not have more dog harnesses than outfits... oops. 😂
🐾 Pack walks are my jam—it’s the best way to keep tails wagging and paws moving! 🐾

This palace is more than just a place for dogs to stay—it’s a cozy home where dogs get the love and care they deserve, just like I’d want for my own. 💖

If you’re looking for a home-away-from-home (and some great pack walk adventures) for your dog, I’d love to welcome them to the palace!
