A huge thank you to the Lincoln Pelham Public Library for bringing Story Time to Horse Sense For Kids! 💙🐴

It was so wonderful to see so many families enjoying stories, and spending time with our horses and farm animals. We love opportunities like this that bring our community together and help children connect with nature, animals, and the joy of reading.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved sharing our barn with you and hope to see you again soon!

🎨🐴 Last week was a colourful one at the barn!

Our riders had so much fun painting the horses (don't worry—it was all horse-safe paint! 😉). There were lots of laughs, plenty of creativity, and our horses were more than happy to soak up all the extra attention.

These are the moments we love most—making memories, building confidence, and showing kids that learning with horses can be fun in so many different ways.

At Horse Sense for Kids, we often talk about the incredible impact one person can have on the lives of others.

For us, that person is Josh.

Over the past few years, Josh has been an incredible mentor, not only to me personally, but to Horse Sense for Kids as a whole. His knowledge, generosity, and unique understanding of horses have helped shape the way we approach our programs and the relationships we build with our horses.

Many of the concepts we teach our participants today - slowing down, listening, observing, building trust, and understanding that behaviour is communication, have been strengthened through what we've learned from Josh. His influence reaches far beyond the barn and has helped us create even more meaningful experiences for the children and youth we serve.

Now, Josh and his family are facing a difficult chapter, and we'd love to help give back to someone who has given so much to others.

Unfortunately, due to the poor air quality, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's Sunset Yoga at the Farm. The health and comfort of our participants is our top priority.
