🏆 SPORTSMANSHIP SPOTLIGHT 🏆

Yesterday at the Hope Equestrian Series we gave one of our team members a very serious mission… 👀

Find the rider who shows what this sport is really about — kindness, patience, encouragement, a good attitude, and the ability to laugh when horse show chaos inevitably arrives. 🐴✨

Our sportsmanship award went to Holly Aubin riding Cec Valentine ❤️

Through the waiting, the schedule shuffle, and the classic “because… horses” kind of day — Holly continued to smile, support others, and remind everyone why we love this community.

Because ribbons are amazing… but the riders who stay positive throughout the day? Those are the ones who make this sport special. 🏇💕

A comprehensive assessment designed to help riders better understand how their body influences their riding and their horse.

Each Rider Audit includes:
• Ground movement assessment
• Ridden assessment
• Personalized written report with findings and recommendations

We’re excited to welcome riders, trainers, families, and supporters to the Spring Classic at the Essa Agriplex tomorrow!!🐴✨

📍 Please refer to the attached map for important locations around the grounds.

🌐 Stall assignments, rider times, ring names, dressage tests, and schooling schedules can all be found on our website. Click on “menu” and then you will be presented with a drop down menu. Click on “hope equestrian events”. Please review all information before arriving.

⚠️ Facility Reminders
• Gates are locked from 9:00 PM–6:00 AM (access during these hours must be arranged through the Show Office)
• Parking is permitted only in designated areas
• Stalls may only be used for unloading during schooling days before moving vehicles to designated parking
• Dogs must remain leashed at all times and owners must clean up after them
• No smoking near the rings or on the show grounds
• No alcohol, recreational drugs, or illicit substances permitted
• Open fires are prohibited
• Hacking in competition rings is permitted until maintenance equipment arrives
• All classes are governed by current Equestrian Canada rules and horse welfare standards

‼️Dressage Riders‼️

💬 If you are doing a combined test this weekend you will be doing the test labeled “your level CT”.

💬 If you are doing an individual dressage test you will also be doing the test labeled “your level CT”.

💬 If you are doing a dressage division, you will be doing tests labeled “Your level CT” AND “your level Test #2”.

Dressage tests can be found on our website under “hope equestrian events” scroll down and you will find the pdf called dressage tests.

LAST DAY FOR ENTRIES

Today is the final day to get your entries in for the Hope Equestrian Series Spring Classic happening this Sunday, May 31! 🌺🌷🌿

Stall assignments, schooling times, and rider times are currently in the works and will be sent out shortly to competitors already entered.

Cost: 140$

Auditing: 20$

This clinic is open to the public ‘

Holly’s accomplishments include:

* Named to 2 Nation Cup Teams, in  Aachen, Germany and Great Meadow, USA aboard More Inspiration. 

* Long listed for the 2015 Pan American Games aboard More Inspiration. 

* Short listed for the 2016 Olympic Games - More Inspiration. 

* Alternate for the 2019 Pan American Games - Candy King. 

* 12th place, 2019, Pau, France CCI %*L with More Inspiration against he world’s top-ranked riders!

* Competed at multiple 5* international events including the Kentucky 3 Day Event, Maryland 5 Star and Pau, France. 

* Qualified both Candy King and More Inspiration for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.  (More Inspiration was unfortunately retired due to a heart murmur.) 

* Selected to represent Canada for the 2022 FEI World Championship Team in Patroni-Roma, Italy 

* Winner of the Horseware Indoor Eventing Challenge at the 2022 Royal Horse Show
* Hollys eyes are firmly set on the 2028 Paris olympics, with horses competing at the FEI level, being Candy King, Orlando 321, and Deal or no deal
* Holly also competes now in pure show jumping , with Magnolia AS and Josephine in the Grand Prixs.
