Meet Gizmo!
Normal, wild type

He is really good with food and quite good with handling, in no way aggressive, and is quite hard to spook, he loves using his tongue to smell everything, a lovely snake for a little one.

Feel free to give Gizmo a double boop on the nose before leaving, and if you want to see any more snake options, feel free to explore our ig account!

Bye!

She is lovely with food and is perfect with handling. She is very photogenic and likes to stick her face in front of a camera. She explores her enclosure a lot and loves to climb. If you want an extroverted pet, Spot is the animal for you!
If you are interested in buying her, you can reach us on kijiji, where we can give you more info.
Before you leave, feel free to give Spot a double boop on the nose, and if you want to see any different snakes, we have more on our page!

⚠ Watch out for turtles while traveling this long weekend and into September, as turtles will be on the move to their hibernating locations and are at risk of being hit.

If you find an injured turtle anywhere in Ontario: contain the turtle if it's safe for you to do so, make note of exactly where you found it, and call us at 705-741-5000, option 9. We'll walk you through what to do, and make arrangements to get the turtle to our centre. If you find an injured turtle outside of our operating hours, please keep it somewhere safe until we can get back to you. Thanks everyone!

Have a happy and turtley safe weekend 🐒

Lunch time! One of our staff came across this watersnake eating a juvenile smallmouth bass πŸ˜‹πŸ½οΈπŸŸ

Unlike many snakes, which stick to swimming on the surface of the water, watersnakes are able to fully dive and swim underwater. In fact, they can be found swimming up to three metres below the surface of the water! This allows them to chase down more challenging aquatic prey, like fish 🏊🐍
