Pets in Costume? YES PLEASE!

Halloween isn’t just for the humans.

We want to see your furry little pumpkins, witches, superheroes and completely ridiculous costumes too!

Drop a photo of your pet dressed for Halloween in the comments.

We can’t wait to see who understood the assignment
and who is already plotting revenge for being put in a costume.

And if your little monster needs a freshen-up before Halloween, give Ashley a call!

Black Cat Myths — BUSTED!

Black cats have picked up some pretty unfair superstitions over the years.
Let’s set the record straight.

MYTH: Black cats are bad luck.
FACT: They’re no luckier or unluckier than any other cat
although we’d argue having one love you is pretty lucky.

MYTH: Black cats are less friendly.
FACT: Coat colour doesn’t determine personality.
Black cats can be cuddly, social, mischievous, independent or total lap cats.

MYTH: Black cats are associated with Halloween because they’re spooky.
FACT: Their Halloween reputation comes from centuries-old folklore and superstition
not anything about the cats themselves.

MYTH: Black cats all look the same.
FACT: Look closely! Their coats can have different undertones,

markings and textures, and some even appear rusty or chocolate-brown in bright sunlight.
This October, let’s leave the superstition to the Halloween decorations.

Black cats deserve love, cuddles and pampering too.

For any of you who have listened to a fur baby …

Mondays can be tough as you spend much of your weekend running around getting all the things done.

This can cause your pet a bit of stress and anxiety at times.

It’s okay to let them relax, unwind and enjoy a little relaxation.

Maybe have a nap and just do what they do best.

What’s That Smell?

If your dog’s paws are starting to smell a little like corn chips, popcorn or something funky, it may be more than just what they stepped in!

Dogs naturally have bacteria and yeast on their paws, but moisture trapped between those little toes can sometimes cause odour to become stronger.

Regular grooming helps keep paws clean, trimmed and fresh and gives us a chance to notice when something doesn’t look quite right.

Because those adorable little feet get into EVERYTHING.
