Friday AM Shelter Volunteers Needed - Please Share
Starting in December, we only have 1 volunteer available for this shift, so adoptable kitty Lucas is putting out an urgent call for new Friday AM Shelter Volunteers!
Our Friday shift runs from 10 AM - 1 PM, if you are available to volunteer during these hours and want to help kitties in need, please fill out our application to volunteer 😺
With just a month left until December, we have just enough time to train you!
Without enough volunteers on each shift we can't house cats in our shelter, so please consider volunteering so we can continue to operate for the kitties who need us!

We are located at 4610 97 Street, Edmonton and we are looking for people to volunteer 3 hours of their time 1 time per week.
Volunteer duties include cleaning up after, feeding, and administering medication (when needed) to our adoptable kitties! It is important to note that our shelter shifts are hard work (but so rewarding!), our volunteers' time is mainly filled with caring for our kitties rather than playing with them. For many of our kitties, this is the first time they have been properly taken care of, having someone clean their suite and feed them shows them they matter and makes it easier for them to open their hearts to love. Our shelter volunteers are a critical part of SAFE Team - they ensure that our adoptable kitties are comfortable and cared for and ready to find their forever families.
Training is provided and volunteers must be 18 years of age and older.
