Meet Rocky, a charming Double Yellow-Headed Amazon who hatched in 2016. This handsome male is available for adoption, his adoption fee includes his cage, a vet check, and a microchip.

Rocky is quite the character—he knows how to step up on a stick (and sometimes on hands), though he understands he can be a bit intimidating at times and does bite occasionally. Because of this, Rocky is best suited for an experienced, bird-savvy home and is not suitable for households with children. He has been in our care since January 2025 and is ready to find a loving forever home! 🦜💕

Meet Beaky, a serious yet talented Yellow Naped Amazon with a flair for opera and a contagious laugh. Hatched in the 1990s, this bird has been in care since 2016 and is looking for an experienced home to support his unique personality.

While Beaky might lunge and try to bite when passing by, he steps up on a stick for easy movement. Not suitable for homes with children, this feathered performer is perfect for those who appreciate his quirks and commanding presence.

Merlins are fierce, fast falcons that can often be spotted right here in the Edmonton area! Keep an eye out in open fields, wooded areas, or along riverbanks—they thrive in spaces with plenty of small birds to hunt.

➡️ Where to Spot Them: Merlins are adaptable and even nest in urban spaces! Parks, mature trees, and old magpie nests make great homes for them.

➡️ When to Look: They’re most active during the day, especially around dawn or dusk. Watch for their bold aerial moves!
