Please help us wish a very special Happy 60th Birthday to the man behind it all...
Many people know River Lane Ranch because of the horses, the foals, the videos, the vacations, and the memories created here.
But the truth is, none of it exists without Dave.
For 60 years, life has taken him down roads most people could never imagine. From bike clubs to trucking highways across Canada and America, through challenges, victories, heartbreaks, lessons, and second chances. Every road eventually led him to bring his family here…to this ranch and this life.
Dave is the husband who never laughed at the crazy ideas. The one who always found a way to say, “Let’s give it a shot.”
He raised daughters who measure men against the example he set. Daughters who grew up knowing what a husband, father, and provider should look like. A man who showed up. A man who worked hard. A man who stayed.
He raised sons who learned loyalty, sacrifice, and hard work not from words, but from watching their father lead by example every single day.
Over the last several years, he has quietly fought battles most people know nothing about, yet he keeps getting up and moving forward.
He is the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
And he’s also the kind of man who has absolutely no problem helping you find the train station if that’s what the situation calls for.
He has the softest heart, a deep love for his family and animals, and absolutely no tolerance for nonsense. Somehow, that combination makes him one of the kindest and strongest men you’ll ever meet.
His greatest accomplishment isn’t the ranch.
It’s the family he built, the values he passed on, and the legacy he continues to create every day. ❤️
